U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday will push the CEOs of General Motors, Ford Motor and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles to build generation in the United States and lift American work.
"I need new plants to be worked here for autos sold here!" Trump said in a tweet in front of the breakfast meeting with automakers, saying he would examine U.S. employments with the CEOs.
Trump has condemned automakers for building autos in Mexico and somewhere else and has debilitated to force 35 percent taxes on imported vehicles.
The meeting is the most recent indication of Trump's unprecedented level of intercession for a U.S. president into corporate issues as he has over and again jawboned automakers and different producers to "purchase American and contract American."
It will be the first run through the CEOs of the enormous three automakers meet mutually with a U.S. president since a July 2011 session with then-president Barack Obama to tout an arrangement to about twofold fuel proficiency guidelines to 54.5 miles for each gallon by 2025.
